Launch of the Réparabilité Index

Today, consumers are looking for durable, repairable products, making repairability a new, responsible purchasing reflex. As part of this approach, LA TOULOUSAINE is deploying the reparability index on its garage doors*, a clear indicator of a product's ability to be repaired rather than replaced.

The RE100 motorized garage doors* achieved a score of 9.4/10. This score is based on the method initiated by Groupement ACTIBAIE, which assigns a score out of 10 to each product according to five main criteria:

• Availability of documentation and technical manuals
• Demountability of the product
• Availability of spare parts
• Price of spare parts
• Maintenance and assistance

An action in line with the company's CSR commitments to combat waste, extend product life and encourage more sustainable consumption.

* In line with ACTIBAIE criteria, the study was carried out on a garage door measuring 2400x2000(ht) mm, fitted with the most representative motor in its size (Sommer TD500).
